The centre of information ISISS is engaged in development in the field of automation of information-library processes, the operation of the automated information system on social sciences (OAIS). The basic directions of activity of the Centre also include:

Preparation of bibliographic databases on social and humanitarian sciences;

Preparation and distribution of databases ISISS on CD-ROM and electronic editions;

Help-bibliographic service of the users of the automated information system on social sciences and the readers of the basic Library ISISS;

Creation of the electronic catalogue of library ISISS in the Internet;

Electronic copying of sources from the fund of Library, scanning and recognition of texts;

Manufacturing of microcopies and photocopying;

Management of the fund of abstract editions ISISS;

Marketing researches in the field of distribution of electronic products.
